Narrative Section Of The Music Video

My section of the music video was the narrative where me and my group had to construct a storyline that followed Todorov theory, it had to have the following; Equilibrium- the beginning of the music video,a Disruption-something out of the ordinary happening in this case it would be when the homeless man gets caught in the music video, Realisation- when they realise the problem caused, in the music video it would be when the homeless man realises he took something that he shouldn't have, and also when he starts running away from what he has done, Restored Order- this is when they try to put things right, in the music video this would be when the homeless man and the home owner fights and then put there differences aside and try to become friends,New Equilibrium- when the problem is solved and things are back to normal, in the music video this would be when the homeless man and home owner becomes friend were we see the home owner helping the homeless man up.

Whilst editing our footage on Final cut on the macs we made notes on post it's to say what we think we did well on our footage, in my section I thought that our narrative was clear as the costumes used in the footage clearly showed the two different types of characters, and I also thought we used good use of the camera movements and made sure we didn't keep the camera still most of the time, we used a lot of hand held shots, we made good use of the mise-en-scene as it was a dull day it suited our action on the screen well also known as Pathetic fallacy so it suited well, the only issue  we had that I went back and changed was the cutting to the beat it wasn't consistent so I went back and made the edit more precise

Pre-Production Process

Before we started filming anything we had to create a shooting script this helped us a lot as this sheet had all the shots that we needed to film, as you can see we had to get rid of the beginning bit this was because we had extra footage and also we were not that happy about that part of the footage, our shooting script was very useful as it had everything we needed.
We created post it notes based on our part of the footage and we wrote how we thought our work looked like and if it met the standard that was aimed. After I write this out I
I then looked at my work and made sure it did have all that I listed at first it did not cut to the beat all the way through so I had to go back and make some changes and be more precise about my editing, eventually the whole footage did cut to the beat.
