This classic Michael Jackson music video
Thriller is one of the most memorable music video as the costumes used were zombies and the face make up was also done to suit the costumes also the lighting used was natural and artificial which emphasized the theme they were going for and the mise-en-scene used is a telemetry and an empty road which connotes a gloomy feeling also the choreographed routine was original and also something that other people try and re-create.One That I hate:
I hate this music video
specifically because it is unusual and is not pleasing to the eye but they have used a good use of camera shots such as close ups through out the video
and also the lighting they've used is artificial which highlights the movements made and also gives a clear look, also the use of the simple back drop that is used throughout the music video connotes that the movement they are making is being emphasized and also the use of props such as a speaker and a board switcher adds to the music video and conveys
that it controls the video.Current Favorite Music Video:
This is currently my favorite music video because it is vibrant and it uses a lot of angles such as it starts
of with a close up of their feet's then uses a pan to the right to show two people against the wall and also the camera is positioned at different angles such as on its side and it also uses the movement and goes 360 clockwise, also the costumes they have used are simple and smart and they use props such as the old Mercedes Benz, brick phone and sun glasses and hats this connotes that they are trying to set the video in an olden time, also the dance routine is in sync with each other fluent and original.
